3 Crazy Experiments with Coca Cola

1886 - 1992: Start in Atlanta

The history of Coca-Cola begins in 1886 in Georgia with the personality of John Steth Pemberton. In the same year, about 1300 km away, a new American symbol will emerge, the Statue of Liberty that was under construction at New York Harbor. The spirit of curiosity has always moved the makers of history, and that's exactly what happened with John Smith in Pemberton. One evening, when he was mixing with a watermelon and a caramel color, the chemist got a drink, rushed him to the nearby Jacob drugstore. The mixture was mixed with gaseous water, which began to provide customers with a taste. They all found there was something special about this drink. Jacob's pharmacy sells this drink for five cents a cup. Frank Robinson, an accountant at Pemberton, named the drink Coca-Cola and designed the name in his elegant handwriting, to remain the same line that was and is still used today. During the first year, he sold only 9 cups of coke daily. A century later, Coca-Cola has produced more than 35 billion liters of drink a year. Unfortunately, Beauberton died in 1888 without witnessing the success of the brew he invented. Three years later (1888-1891) the company bought Asa Griggs Candler, a businessman in Atlanta, for $ 2,300. Candler then became the company's first president and first to develop the company's strategy and brand.

1905 - 1918: Preservation of the mark
Sometimes tradition is the best proof of success. Coca-Cola did not accept the proliferation of versions that exploit its popularity, and the product and the label were wonderful and should be protected. So the ad was focused on the originality of Coca-Cola, and urged customers to buy the drink with the slogan "Choose the original" and "Do not accept the alternative." The company also decided to invent a bottle in a distinctive way that ensures the customer to buy real Coca-Cola. To that end, the company, "Rut Glass", located in Tir Hot in Indiana, was designed to design a recognizable bottle even in the dark. In 1916, Rut Glass began to produce the unique and well-known bottle, which remains the product's uniqueness to this day. It was chosen for its attractive shape and innovative design, as well as being able to recognize it even in the dark. At the beginning of the 20th century, Coca-Cola experienced rapid growth in Canada, Cuba, Puerto Rico, France ... in addition to other countries and regions in the United States. In the year 1900, there were only two producers of Coca-Cola bottles, bringing the number of producers to about a thousand products in 1920.
