A British Columbia man recently celebrated three occasions together.
A British Columbia man recently found himself at a rare intersection - he retired, celebrated his birthday and won a $2 million Canadian lottery on the same day, reports UPI.
According to a news release by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, Mr. Ping Kuen Shum "was feeling in great spirits celebrating both his birthday and retirement on April 28" when he bought the winning ticket.
"It's unbelievable that all three events happened on the same day," Shum said about the lottery win. "I have worked hard for so many years and I'm looking forward to sharing this fortune with my family."
The chances of matching all six numbers on the ticket are one in 13,983,816.
