Cornwall's swimming horses are preparing ahead of what is predicted to be the hottest early May bank holiday on record.

Video filmed on Friday (May 4) from Long rock beach near Marazion shows the water-treading horses training ahead of the start of their season on Monday.

Temperatures are expected to hit 28 degrees Celcius over the weekend, matching the current record of 28.6 in 1995.
