Academy of Motion Pictures expels Cosby, Polanski

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences expelled television’s Bill Cosby and Oscar-winning director Roman Polanski on 03 May as the Academy Awards presenter responded to sexual misconduct allegations roiling Hollywood. It’s the first major decision since the Academy implemented revised standards of conduct for it’s over 8,400 members.
