Time for our weather update now.
Our weathercaster Lee Jeehyun is at the Goyang International Flower Festival in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do Province.

Jee-hyun, what's it like to be surrounded by all those flowers?

It's wonderful, Semin The festival kicked off about a week ago, and the flowers are in full bloom welcoming many visitors from around the country and the world.
With a long three day weekend ahead with Children's Day on Saturday and temporary holiday on Monday here in Korea, if you haven't decided how to make the most of it...

This annual festival is a must see with 5,000 different kinds of flowers from 36 different countries... tulips, roses you will be amazed by the breathtaking views here. This garden of spring blossoms can definitely give you a break from life in the city.
And great news for foreign visitors, the festival is offering special discounts for foreigners with various programs well underway. The event will run through May 13th.

Thankfully the weather looks promising except on Sunday with nationwide rain in the forecast. But you know that means there will be fewer people at the festival so take that into account.

Yesterday's fickle weather has stabilized and we are expecting bright and warm afternoon highs...but it's another cool and breezy start to the day, so dress accordingly.

Most parts are having single digit morning lows at 9 degrees in Seoul, Daejeon and Daegu and 7 degrees in Gyeongju.

As for the highs, Seoul will get up to 19 degrees which is 5 degrees higher than yesterday. Gyeongju, Daegu and Gwangju will see 23 degrees.

Mainly sunny skies will be featured all day boosting UV rays so apply a good amount of sunblock before heading out.
