Flyover of one of the biggest culm (waste coal/coal refuse) piles remaining in the Wyoming Valley of the northeastern Pennsylvania anthracite coal fields. EPCAMR is working with a co-generation power plant and engineers to "eat away" the pile with partial government funding over the next few years. The project will remove an eyesore from the community making way for the land to be developed again and will employ hundreds of workers on the hauling and power plant side of the equation. The landowner has agreed to set aside a portion of the site for a community park extension.
