Riders Spent Two Hours Trapped On This Hanging Roller Coaster's Tallest Hill
  • 6 years ago

32 thrill seeking visitors at Universal Studios Japan theme park were stuck on a roller coaster for two hours yesterday. A faulty mechanism caused two cars on the Jurassic Park Flying Dinosaur ride to come to a sudden stop. One car was near the boarding station, the other just about to go over the first hill. Those passengers were left hanging upside down from a harness, with 98 feet of free-fall space between them and the ground. Rescue workers raised a maintenance platform to safely remove everyone. It took about two hours for them to be rescued and precariously climb down the tower’s support structure.
