In the case of Jyotirlinga erosion in Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh, the Supreme Court had said that water supply of R.O. on Jyotirlinga would be made. After the instructions of the court, water will be supplied to ro on Jyotirlinga erosion. The court said that it is not the duty of the court to decide how to worship, we are not only hearing the damage to Jyotirlinga but also hearing it.

मध्य प्रदेश के उज्जैन में ज्योतिर्लिंग क्षरण मामले में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा गया था कि ज्योतिर्लिंग पर आरओ का पानी चढ़ाया जाए। कोर्ट के निर्देश के बाद ज्योतिर्लिंग क्षरण पर आरओ का ही पानी चढ़ाया जाएगा। कोर्ट ने कहा कि पूजा कैसे हो ये तय करना कोर्ट का काम नहीं है, हम सिर्फ ज्योतिर्लिंग को नुकसान नहीं पहुंचे इसपर सुनवाई कर रहे हैं।
