In a shocking incident of medical apathy, a 3-month-old baby died after alleged negligence by doctors during blood transfusion. Infant's father in his complaint to the police has said that the baby received O positive blood during the transfusion, even though the right blood group was a positive. Angered by the baby's death, the family of the infant staged a protest at the premises of the hospital and also filed a police complaint following which, the police registered a case has already been registered under section 336 of IPC.
