Jerry Williams - If You Ask Me

Jerry Williams, who of course became the legendary "Swamp Dogg". He recreated his monster Northern Soul classic, "If You Ask Me", for us for our award winning DVD documentary, "The Strange World Of Northern Soul". He was not only a wonderful person and a hell of a nice guy. He organised other artists to also film for our documentary, even getting Leon Haywood to sing "Baby Reconsider", something that nobody else but Jerry could have ever achieved. His vocals on this classic re-recording are amazing, and so true to the original that we were all so amazed. This was filmed in his house in Los Angeles, in 1998.
