Ryan Reynolds recently tweeted a rejection letter to his Deadpool character regarding joining the Avengers. Deadpool is currently owned by 21st Century Fox, which is preparing to sell many assets to Disney. It's unknown whether Disney and Marvel Studios will integrate Deadpool into the Marvel Cinematic Universe once the merger is finalized. The sequel to Reynolds’ smash hit film hits theatres on May 18.
