A new film based on life and work of BJP founder Syama Prasad Mookerjee has been blocked by theatre owners across the state of West Bengal after they alleged threat calls film director Milan Bhowmik claims that on the eve of its release, most theatres have cancelled shows citing threats and intimidation. The filmmaker claims that he has written a letter to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and wants to deliver it to her official residence but was not allowed to do so.
