2018 Honda Amaze First Drive Living Cars

Japanese car maker Honda is set to launch the new generation of its compact sedan the Amaze in the market. The car gets an aerodynamic sleek line from the firm long nose and large bonnet all the way to the boot. The design is edgy and boxy and that makes the car looks muscular, quite unlike others in the segment. The lamps get LEDs and the smart use of chrome adds the much needed style quotient. The design of the dashboard, the black & beige colour theme and the steering wheel with controls, all make the Amaze cabin look more premium. The touch screen AVN system is there too. It provides navigation, entertainment options and also houses a rear parking camera. The engines continue to be 1.2 liter 90 PS Petrol and 1.5 L 100 PS Diesel. Honda claims fuel efficiency as high as 27 kmpl on the manual Diesel variant. First time the compact sedan segment will see a Diesel CVT. Shams Naqvi gets us a first drive report.
