Walmart's Asda May Join Up With Sainsbury's To Dominate British Grocery Market

Sainsbury’s and Walmart’s Asda are in talks to create Britain’s biggest supermarket group. The move would overtake British grocery store chain Tesco by market share in a combination of their UK businesses worth up to $20.7 billion. According to Reuters, Sainsbury’s confirmed that it and Walmart were in advanced discussions regarding a combination of the Sainsbury’s and Asda businesses.
