NBC has announced that Michael Che and Colin Jost of “Saturday Night Live” will host the 2018 Emmy Awards. Che and Jost anchor the “Weekend Update” segment of “Saturday Night Live.” The pair are also head writers on the sketch show. Alumni of the late night show have hosted the Emmys before. This includes Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers. However, the last current “SNL” cast member to serve as host was Eddie Murphy in 1983. The Emmy Awards will air on September 17th on NBC.
