Actor Salman Khan may have faced a lot of flak for being announced as goodwill ambassador for Rio Olympics but the actor has come out in support of Indian athletes. In a series of tweets, Salman talked about sports, Olympics and our Indian athletes. Do take a look at them below to know all. The actor will be giving Rs 1,01,000 each to the 118 Indian athletes who are a part of the Olympic team in Rio.
India have had a disappointing outing as we speak on Day 12 of the Games. With less than five days to go for the Olympics to get over, India are yet to win their first medal at the Games. There is still some hope remaining. Athletes are still competing in golf, wrestling, badminton and athletics.
As a gesture of appreciation for our Olympic athletes, I will present each one with a cheque of Rs1,01,000.
