Anurag Kashyap Under Fire Again – Pahlaj Refuses to Certify Another Film Haraamkhor
Looks like Anurag and CBFC have decided to be at loggerheads for some time to come for his upcoming Haraamkhor is also under fire by the CBFC. Yes, apparently the movie starring the much talented Nawazuddin deals with a delicate relation between a teacher and a student.
It has already been filmed in New York in the Annual New York Film Festival and Nawazudding bagged the best actor award. In spite of this the CBFC now is asking for major cuts following the pattern of the now controversial film Udta Punjab.
Well Anurag Kashyap always comes with bold themes and this story of a teacher and student relation is viewed as an ill effect and Pahlaj has refused to show certain parts of the film and also has made the film with an A certificate. Well times are changing and we wait to see what would happen to the movie now.
