Ungli

Dum? Well, ‘Ungli’ is a decent film with good concept presented in an entertaining manner. It’s not as great as films like ‘Rang De Basanti’ or ‘A Wednesday’, but is far better and enjoyable then the recent films made under the same theme line. If we consider ‘Ungli’ movie as a poker game between a common man and the corruption, it ends up getting a full hand consisting of good concept, crisp direction, razor swift dialogues and decent performances by the lead actors.

Dum? Well, this movie has good dum for all those who love to watch well made films with some different concept attached to it. The movie is engaging for sure with lots of good and witty writing in the first half of the film. Later on, the ideas dry out and the movie goes on a stagnant note thus ending up as an above average product, which had the full potential to become a great film. However, keeping aside the negative part, this movie deserves to be seen by all those who love political satires and simple films and will be glad on finding that an original political satire has finally been made in our Hindi films which is not a weak inspiration of 'Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron'.
