The Justice Department reiterated on Tuesday that Attorney General Jeff Sessions was not overseeing any investigations related to the 2016 presidential election. A spokeswoman for the Justice Department said, "The attorney general has been clear that his recusal covers ‘any existing or future investigations of any matters related in any way to the campaigns for president of the United States.
