Drake Beats Bruno Mars for Most Weeks Atop Billboard Hot 100 Chart This Decade The Canadian rapper has spent 33 weeks in the top slot, buoyed by the success of his most recent single, “Nice For What.” Drake, who recently debuted a video for the song, also released the mega-hit, “God’s Plan,” earlier this year. In January, “God’s Plan” helped him break both Apple Music’s and Spotify’s record for most streams in a single day. “One Dance,” which was released in 2016, also helped Drake’s cause for the Billboard record, spending 10 weeks atop the Hot 100 chart. While Drake beat Mars, he’s currently tied with a fellow Canadian, Justin Bieber, for most No. 1 hits on the Billboard Streaming chart.
