Trump Thanks Mary Matalin For Saying She 'Can Die Happy Now' Given His Job Performance

President Trump on Sunday thanked Mary Matalin on Twitter.
President Trump on Sunday thanked political consultant Mary Matalin for her recent remarks.
Trump quoted Matalin in a tweet, "I can die happy now with Trump Job performance...A great overall President, stunning!" and added, "Thank you, Mary."
The president has repeatedly boasted about his accomplishments as president.
"My administration, I think, has had the most successful first year in the history of the presidency," Trump told the audience during a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in February. "I really believe that...I mean, judges, regulations, everything."
Those remarks echoed what he wrote in a tweet back in October.
"Perhaps no Administration has done more in its first 9 months than this Administration. Over 50 Legislation approvals, massive regulation cuts, energy freedom, pipelines, border security, 2nd Amendment, Strong Military, ISIS, historic VA improvement, Supreme Court Justice, Record Stock Market, lowest unemployment in 17 yrs!" Trump tweeted.
And a few weeks prior, Trump told Republican lawmakers that veteran Senator Orrin Hatch had called him, "the single greatest president in his lifetime."
Trump was quoted as adding about Hatch, "He actually once said I'm the greatest president in the history of our country."
Despite Trump's comments, a spokesperson for Hatch later indicated that the Senator had been misquoted.
