President Trump on Friday posted another tweet on the GOP tax cuts.
President Trump on Friday slammed House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who has been an outspoken critic of the GOP tax bill.
"Nancy Pelosi is going absolutely crazy about the big Tax Cuts given to the American People by the Republicans...got not one Democrat Vote! Here's a choice. They want to end them and raise your taxes substantially. Republicans are working on making them permanent and more cuts!" Trump tweeted.
A recent CNBC All-America Economic Survey shed some light on the impact of the tax bill.
"More than half say they see no change in their paychecks and 16 percent are unsure. It could be that more time is needed for people to notice the change," CNBC noted. "It could also be that the tax cut provided too small a break to be meaningful to many Americans."
Regardless, Trump has repeatedly touted the legislation as "the biggest tax cut in history."
"We've had massive tax cuts. And I mean massive. We've had tremendous success from the company standpoint and from the people standpoint," the president said at a recent small business event in Florida.
