Seoul's FM returns from four-day trip to central Asia

Seoul's foreign minister has returned home after completing a four day tour around central Asia.
Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha met with Uzbekistan's leader Shavkat Mirziyoev, and delivered President Moon Jae-in's message in which he asks for Uzbekistan's support in stabilizing the Korean peninsula. The South Korean leader also expressed his wish to further develop Seoul and Tashkent strategic partnership.
Uzbek President Mirziyoev said that the groundwork for developing bilateral ties were set last year when he met President Moon.

Seoul's top diplomat also visited Kazakhstan for two days... where she suggested to President (Nursultan Nazarbaev... the two countries diversify their cooperation beyond the energy and resource sectors.
