Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles to Host 72nd Tony Awards Bareilles recently wrote the score and did two stints as the lead for ‘Waitress’, while Groban appeared as one of the leads in ‘Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812’. The last time the Tony’s had co-hosts was in 2015, when Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cummings had the honor. The nominees for this year’s show will be revealed on May 1. The Tony Awards will take place on June 10 at Radio City Music Hall and will air on CBS.
