NASA Planet Hunter Prepares For Liftoff

NASA’s newest planet hunter is gearing up for its first mission. The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite is scheduled to lift off aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on Monday from Florida’s Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Meteorologists have said launch weather is a "go" with an 80 percent chance of favorable conditions. To watch the launch live, tune into NASA’s TESS blog or at NASA TV.
