Meek Mill Is Still In Prison But Could Have New Trial

Rapper Meek Mill remains in prison, but he's getting closer to having his day in court, again. Philadelphia prosecutors told a judge Monday that they support a new trial for Mill. His multi-year sentence for a probation violation has become a rallying cry for criminal justice reform. Lawyers for 30-year-old Mill requested that the judge release Mill on bail in the meantime, but the judge said that wasn't the purpose of Monday's status hearing.
