A hungry marmoset monkey and bearded dragon couldn’t stop eating mealworms during a snack break at Safari Bob's in Lake Worth, Florida.
Rio, the marmoset monkey, and Dexter, the bearded dragon, are ambassador animals at Safari Bob’s.
They visit schools, senior living centers and other venues in the hope of educating people about the importance of responsible captive husbandry of exotic animals, their counterparts in the wild and the difference between animal welfare (caring well for animals) and animal rights (the belief no animal belongs under human care).
The patio at Safari Bob's could be considered the "break room" where Rio and Dexter can unwind, enjoy a snack and talk about the day's events.
