CWG 2018: Indian medallist speak exclusively to NewsX

It's as much a proud day for us, as it is a sad one. On one hand, our daughters are winning medal after medal at the CWG gold coast 2018. It's day 11 and the latest entrants in the medal tally include Saina Nehwal, PV Sindhu and Manika Batra. But on the other hand, gruesome incidences of rape and molestation continue to maim our society. Unnao and Kathua are sitting examples of the way we treat the women in our society. It's high time India wakes up to grotesque truth of the society and takes pertinent action.
