Bill Hader and James McAvoy in Talks for 'It' Sequel Hader and McAvoy may join part two of the film adaptation of the Stephen King novel, Entertainment Weekly confirmed. Hader would portray the adult Richie Tozier, who was played by 'Stranger Things' actor Finn Wolfhard. McAvoy would portray the grown-up Bill Denbrough, who was played by 'Midnight Special' actor Jaeden Lieberher. Jessica Chastain is also allegedly set to play the adult Beverly Marsh, who was portrayed by Sophia Lillis. Bill Skargård will reprise his role as the terrifying, shape-shifting Pennywise. The sequel will see the Losers Club return to Derry, Maine 27 years after the events of the first film. 'It' went on to become the highest-grossing horror film of all time, earning over $700 million at the worldwide box office. 'It Chapter 2' is slated for a 2019 release.
