Seahawks Postpone Meeting After Colin Kaepernick Declines to Say if He Will Stop Kneeling According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Kaepernick was supposed to have a workout with the Seattle Seahawks but the trip has been put on hold over a " last-minute stipulation regarding Kaepernick's anthem stance." Kaepernick, who started kneeling during the national anthem in 2016, has been a free agent quarterback since the end of the 2016-17 season, despite not being injured. The 30-year-old QB filed a grievance
against the NFL in October, claiming he had been denied employment
because of his stance. Schefter said that the Seahawks have not decided whether or not to reschedule the meeting.
