My vote is not for sale, B-pac asks voters to say no to cash for votes

The Bengaluru political action committee has now launched a campaign - 'my vote is not for sale' -the drive is to raise awareness among voters in the city about the practice of exchanging 'cash for votes'.The move comes ahead of the Karnataka assembly elections scheduled to take place on may 12. Raghavendra hs, who is in charge of media and politics at b-pac, announced the launch of the campaign titled. In a personal experience that Raghavendra shared he said that even his mother was offered Rs 5000 for five votes from the family which she has accepted without realising how problamatic that would be. The awareness on the campaign is being created through posters and social media.
