To get started making your own floating bead necklace, you will bead stringing wire. We used 19-strand wire. If youd like to learn more about bead stringing wire, heres a video we made:\r

To make the floating bead necklace, youll need faceted crystal rondelles. We used 19 faceted crystals. We used 9 large blue and green faceted rondelles, 10 smaller green faceted rondelles, and 20 small brushed silver ball beads. For a clasp, we went with a silver lobster clasp. \r

The tools you will need for this diy jewelry project are the three basic jewelry making tools. You will use these all the time! Chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers, and wire cutters. Heres a video we made describing these tools:\r
