Following yesterday's fringe protests near Chepauk stadium, Charges have been filed under section 143 and 188 and 41(6) against filmmaker Bharathiraja and 700 others. They were detained yesterday for protesting near Chepauk stadium. Meanwhile, 10 persons have been arrested for attacking a Sub-Inspector and 2 policemen. 11 others were also arrested for hurling shoes into the stadium. They all belong to Naam Thamizar Katchi and cases have been filed under 5 sections against them.
