PM Modi, Amit Shah to protest against parliament washout on April 12 — Nation at 9

A day after Congress chief Rahul Gandhi led Congress staged a token hunger strike against the BJP-led government to promote peace and communal harmony, the BJP announced that all party MPs led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be holding a day-long fast with BJP lawmakers on Thursday to protest against the recent washout of Parliament which he blamed on the opposition parties. While PM Modi will be fasting in Delhi, BJP President Amit Shah will be holding a similar protest at Hubli in poll-bound Karnataka.
