Hyderabad 53 year old man pours petrol on his wife, victim hospitalised with 80% burn injuries

Husband torches wife, pours petrol on her. A 53-year old man torched his wife Mangamma by pouring petrol on her and set her ablaze. The accused was an alcoholic and had disputes with his 48-year old wife on several occasions where he’d also threatened to kill her. The incident happened on early Monday morning in the wee hours in Jawaharnagar, Telangana. The victim, who was admitted with 80 percent burn injuries, is undergoing treatment and is in critical condition at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad.A case has been registered U/s 307 & 498-A IPC and search for the accused is on.
