Credit-card companies have begun bringing an end to customer signature requirements. Now, retailers such as Walmart and Target are following suit.
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express's new policies started rolling out earlier in April.
Retailers, though, still have the option to continue the requirement. But it seems that few major retail companies will do so.
CNBC reported that Target plans to eliminate signatures this month.
