On Sunday, the regional interior minister said that the man who drove a camper van into a group of people outside a restaurant in the German city of Muenster on Saturday acted alone and appears to have had mental health problems. The man killed two people when he plunged the vehicle into people seated at tables outside the eatery. Not shortly after the man shot himself dead. A senior prosecutor said the perpetrator was known to police for making threats and damaging property.
