Sep. 27, 2011: Coca-Cola CEO Muhtar Kent tells the FT's Alan Rappeport about Coca-Cola's meaningful role in the beverage industry, in developing sustainable communities through sustainable business. Coca cola has a strong focus on emerging markets which has had a positive effect on the company. The global nature of Coca-Cola allows them to have key insights in economic development, the recession, and the economic recovery of various countries. Mr. Kent discusses governments incentive for taxation for the sake of government revenue. He strongly believes a soda tax should not be implemented, and thus remain tax free.
