Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum have "lovingly chosen to separate" after nine years of marriage.



We did NOT see this coming!



The pair took to their respective Instagram accounts to post a joint statement announcing they have "lovingly chosen to separate",



and insisted there were "no secrets nor salacious events" leading to their decision to call time on their marriage.



Channing and Jenna began their message by admitting it was "odd" to have to announce their split, but wanted to tell their fans first.



The former showbiz power couple's last public appearance together



was at the Los Angeles premiere of 'War Dog: A Soldier's Best Friend' on November 6.
