Wall Street took a nosedive on Monday,... kicking off the second quarter with big losses as trade war fears and the weakening tech sector drove down U.S. markets.
The Dow Jones fell to its lowest point in 2018,... tanking more than 450 points or some two-percent to 23,644-point-9.
The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq both posted their biggest daily percentage drop since early February.
Amazon dropped over five-percent after President Trump's tweet about the online retailer.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq was down nearly 3-percent,... dragged down by Microsoft, Apple and Facebook to finish at 6,870.
And markets here in Korea,... ended lower on Monday,... erasing earlier gains in the session.
The benchmark KOSPI edged down one-point-7 points,... to close at 2,444 and the junior index KOSDAQ lost around zero-point-4 percent at 867-point-8.
