Israeli Police released a video on April 2 described as showing a border officer proposing to his girlfriend, a soldier with the Israeli Defense Forces, during rehearsals for Israeli Independence Day celebrations.The video was recorded at Mount Herzl where border guards, soldiers and police officers were practicing for a ceremony due to be held on April 18 for Israel’s 70th Independence Day celebrations.The video was released as the Israel Defense Forces faced criticism for their actions during protests near Gaza, where a number of demonstrators were recently killed.
