BJP's four-member team constituted by Amit Shah reaches riot-torn Asansol for reality check

A four-member team of BJP leaders reached riot-torn Asansol in West Bengal. BJP spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, MPs Om Mathur, Roopa Ganguly and VD Ram reach Asansol to take stock of the situation. The team as constituted by BJP Chief Amit Shah will submit a report to him on their return. It is, however, doubtful whether the BJP team will be allowed entry in the riot-affected areas of Asansol by the state police. Prohibitory orders remained in force even as life was limping back to normal in southern parts of the town.
