Trump Calls California Governor ‘Moonbeam’ In Twitter Attack Over Pardons

President Trump on Saturday lashed out at the governor of California over pardons.

Citing Fox News, President Trump on Saturday blasted California governor Jerry Brown's decision to pardon several men who have been facing deportation due to their prior criminal convictions.
"Governor Jerry 'Moonbeam' Brown pardoned 5 criminal illegal aliens whose crimes include (1) Kidnapping and Robbery (2) Badly beating wife and threatening a crime with intent to terrorize (3) Dealing drugs. Is this really what the great people of California want? @FoxNews," Trump tweeted.

The president's message comes after Brown, a Democrat, issued pardons Friday for 56 convicts including five men--three of whom were permanent U.S. residents set to be sent back to Asia.
According to the Los Angeles Times, "A pardon from the governor can be decisive in helping a person avoid deportation."
Trump's tweet is not the first time he has blasted Brown, in large part, over their differing views on many issues including immigration.
