According to a report by Buzz Feed News, Arnold Schwarzenegger underwent emergency heart surgery after being rushed to the hospital on Thursday. The seventy-year-old body builder turned actor turned politician was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for a catheter valve replacement, an experimental procedure that resulted in complications. Schwarzenegger is reportedly now in stable condition, though the emergency open-heart procedure that was conducted after the valve replacement reportedly lasted several hours. At the age of 49, Schwarzenegger underwent a procedure to have a congenitally defective aortic valve replaced.
