Sabarimala: Elephant carrying idol of Ayyapa runs Amok; 12 devotees injured

Sabarimala: Chaos broke out after an elephant carrying an idol of lord Ayyappa ran amok / 12 devotees injured. Chaos broke out at Sabarimala on Friday morning as an elephant used for a ritual ran amok. The elephant carrying a priest and idol of lord Ayyappa ran amok and the priest and twelve devotees had been injured. Mahouts tried to control the elephant but it tried to escape to woods. Later it was controlled and caught back by mahouts and completed the ritual. The injured were taken into hospital.
