A diver exploring the waters off Cape Schanck, near Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, had a close encounter with a great white shark on January 29, 2017.Diver Luke English seemed to be unfazed after the huge shark swam towards him. “How graceful is this #greatwhiteshark… no threatening behaviour at all. Truly a rare encounter, envied by many,” English wrote in his Instagram post on March 28.Around 750 great white sharks are thought to make the Victorian coast their home, 9News reported.
