Today we are drawing yet another My Little Pony charer. Correction. We are drawing my favorite My Little Pony Charer, Fluttershy. I wanted to do this tutorial not just because I wanted to draw Fluttershy, but because I wanted to introduce you to the grid method in drawing. The grid method is a great, great tool many new and aspiring artists tend to scoff at or even cast aside. Many think if you use any kind of guide, you arent a true artist -- whatever that means. The real truth is its a great tool to use when youre having trouble with certain shapes, perspective, or composition. \r

To prepare for this tutorial, I drew a picture of Fluttershy, then drew an appropriate size grid around her. I thought a 1 inch by 1 inch grid was the best for her. Now, shes ready to be reproduced by you! So go ahead, download the two printable guides below and watch the video to learn how to draw Fluttershy. Dont forget to let me know how it turns out.\r
