South Korea's consumer sentiment fell for a fourth consecutive month in March.
The Bank of Korea says the composite consumer sentiment index edged down zero-point-one points from the previous month to 108-point-one.
The reading is well above 100, meaning there are still more optimists than pessimists.
But consumer confidence related to current domestic conditions fell to a six month low and consumer sentiment regarding future economic conditions edged down in March.
The central bank attributed the fall to growing concerns on rising trade protectionism that could hurt Korean exports, as well as the restructuring of local companies and the GM Korea shutdown.
