Louis Vuitton Appoints Virgil Abloh as Menswear Designer Abloh is the founder of the label Off-White and creative director for Kanye West. Abloh is among the few black designers to lead a French heritage house. The appointment is part of company changes at Louis Vuitton following Kim Jones departure back in January. Virgil is incredibly good at creating bridges between the classic and the zeitgeist of the moment.
