Union Minister KJ Alphons has compared giving data for Aadhaar with giving out the information required for US Visas. He goes on to question why people are making a fuss about revealing data for the Aadhaar card. The minister has said, "we have no problem giving our fingerprints, iris scans and getting our whole body naked for the white man. But when the government of India asks for names and addresses there is a massive revolution in the country and the government is accused of infringing on the privacy of the individual".
